Patricia Ann Thaxton

Patricia Ann Thaxton; of Lake Orion; age 71; passed away August 29, 2014. Patricia is the beloved wife of the late John Thaxton. She is survived by her daughter Kim Rubio (Mark Niepokuj); grandchildren Michael (Melissa) Rubio, Jonathan Rubio and Allison Rubio; great grandson Gabriel; and siblings, Debbie Peet, James Schaar, and Janis Donahue. Patricia was an avid Red Wings fan and always looked forward to every other weekend when she would travel to Lili's Diner for breakfast with her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research or to the Boy's Club.
