Patricia Ann Woodhead

Patricia Ann Woodhead; age 89; passed away February 28, 2017. She is survived by her son Douglas (Loudel) Woodhead; daughter Georgia (David) Treacy; grandsons, Brandon Woodhead and Eric (Olivia) Kulick; and great grandson Cameron Kulick. Patricia was born May 20, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frank and Georgia Best of Coldwater, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan PHI KAPPA PHI Honor Society with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and went on to receive a Master’s Degree from Oakland University in Education. Patricia was an elementary teacher for the Rochester Community Schools for 25 years. Upon retiring she tutored children of all ages. Patricia was a gifted Teacher and Learning Consultant who changed the educational lives of many students. A Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 5-8pm with a time of sharing at 7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
