MURPHY, PATRICK K. March 4, 2009 Age 68 of Oxford. Loving father of Sean of Oxford, Timothy(Kim) of Oregon and Mary(Alan) Storey of Nevada. Grandfather of Nicholas, Kayla, Mason, Casey, Riley and Ella. Dear brother of Barry (Dee), Thomas (Mary), Mike (Carol) Colleen (Jim) Nielson, Hugh (Shawnee), Kevin (Elaine) and the late Gerald Murphy and Kathleen Filipiak. Brother-in-law of Ceil Murphy and Thomas Filipiak. Mr. Murphy was a man of faith. Pat volunteered on taking the homeless to the soup kitchen and just helping the less fortunate. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; a member of the B.P.O.E. Pontiac-Waterford Lodge 810. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Funeral Mass Saturday 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church (715 N. Lapeer Rd.). Family will receive friends Friday 2-9 pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
