Paul A. Mahoney

Paul Andrew Mahoney; of Chesterfield Township; formerly of Lake Orion; age 77; passed away November 11, 2017. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Gloria of 46 years.  He is the father of Paul (Marie) Mahoney II; grandfather of Aaron, Renette and Ian Mahoney; and brother of Rosemary Ward, Patricia Grace, John Mahoney and the late Robert Mahoney.  Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was strong, silent man that loved spending time with his family. Paul also enjoyed playing golf, mountain biking and lifting weights.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4pm until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
