SMITH, PAUL E. November 24, 2006 Age 83 of Clarkston. Beloved husband of Mary Jane of 23 years and the late Gloria. Dear father of John P.(Jackie) of FL, Diana Buzzell of Romeo, Paul E. (Empress) III of Oxford, Jay L. (Janice) of Leonard, Dale R. of Ortonville, Nancy E. Pennington of CO, Alice J. Essary of TN, Michael L of MD and Ruth Ann Hale of TN.Stepfather of Thomas Klyder of FL, Lorrie Hartel of Shelby Twp., Terry Klyder of NM and Kathy McCalden of AZ. Brother of Patricia Goike of TX and the late Donald Hall and Marie Kutchey. Grandfather of 22 and Great Grandfather of 3. Mr. Smith was employed as a manager for 42 years at H.L.Claeys. He was an Army Veteran of World War II;A member of VFW POST 334; a member of Knights of Columbus Lake Orion Council #4764; Lake Orion Lions Club; Poker Club and the Michigan Polka Pals. Funeral Mass 10:30 am Monday, November 27, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (715 N. Lapeer Rd.) Family will receive friends Sunday after 3pm, with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 & 7-9 pm @ the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.Rosary service Sunday , 7 PM .Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
