Paz Rodriguez-Resendez Jr.

Paz Resendez, Jr.; of Auburn Hills; passed away on May 1, 2025 at 82 years of age.  Paz is the devoted husband of Mary Resendez for 63 years; loving father of Juan Resendez, Joe Resendez, and the late Julia Theresa Resendez; loving grandfather of Mario Resendez, Jesse Resendez, Andrea Resendez, and Joey Resendez; and great grandfather of Andriana and Angel.  He is also survived by his brothers Victor Resendez and Pete Resendez.  Paz was preceded in death by his parents Paz & Jacinta Resendez; and his brothers Tony Resendez, Lupe Resendez, and Severiano Resendez.  Paz retired from General Motors after 25 years.  He began working in landscaping shortly after his retirement from GM.  Paz was an avid member of St. Vincent DePaul Church.  He also enjoyed playing in a band, working on cars, gardening, and learning different languages.

Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Church in Pontiac.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 3-7 at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion, with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
