Phyllis A. Drahner

May 2, 1918 — August 1, 2009

DRAHNER, PHYLLIS A. Age 91 of Gaylord, formerly of Lake Orion and Waterford.Died Saturday, August 1, 2009 in her residence at Aspen Ridge Retirement Village. She was the beloved wife of the late Stewart for 50 years. She is survived by her children; Wayne Drahner of Pontiac and Carol(Jack) Conway of Gaylord. Grandmother of Scott(Cheri) Nagy, Kevin (Tany) Nagy and Wayne A. Drahner Jr.. Great-grandmother of Katie Nagy. She was preceded in death by her parents; Evi and Bessie Allen and brother; Bruce Allen. Phyllis was a dedicated piano teacher for nearly 50 years, enriching the lives of many with music. She was a long-time member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church and the Pontiac Area Campers Association. Funeral services will be held 11am, Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Wednesday after 2 pm, with suggested visiting hours of 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Reverend Marge Munger officiating. Interment White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
