Phyllis E. Landon (Barclay); of Waterford; a former long time resident of Lake Orion; passed away Monday, November 2, 2009. Preceded in death by her loving husband Clarence. At 93 years, she was the last to pass of 15 children of her parents Rueben and Alvina Barclay. Phyllis is survived by her devoted daughters, Mary (Fred) Vollrath and Virla (Gerry) Cleasby, both of Waterford. She was the proud grandmother of Jeffrey (Vicky) Vollrath of Waterford, Scott (Fetije) Vollrath of Clarkston, Melissa (Jason) Weimer of Waterford, Derek (Keri) Cleasby of Commerce, and Elizabeth (Eric) Carlson of White Lake. She was a loving great grandmother of Gabrielle and Cole Vollrath, Marshall and Nolan Weimer, Tyler, Kyle, Ryan and Bryce Cleasby, and Deanna, Ally and Drew Carlson. Phyllis will be sadly missed by many many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a dedicated homemaker, seamstress, roller skating Mom, Girl Scout Leader, and especially enjoyed time spent with her family doing many activities and attending their games, recitals, lessons and programs. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, with Pastor John Negele officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday with suggested visiting hours of 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. Reflections may be shared at www.sparksgriffin.com.
