Coakley, Betty; age 86; of Oxford; formerly of Mt. Gilead, North Carolina. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years William Arthur. She is survived by her loving children Jean (Ed) Delude of Oxford and Bill (Ann) Coakley of Norwood, N.C.; grandchildren, Edmond Delude, John Delude, Jennifer Warner and Jason Coakley; great-grandchildren, Julia, Emma, Alex, Ellie and Evan; beloved Aunt of Carol Dwyer and James Smith. Betty was preceded in death by her brother Royal Brady and sister Frances Dwyer. Prior to retirement Betty and William lived in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. A memorial service at Our Lady of Asuncion is being planned in Albemarle, North Carolina. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Tree Place, 5480 Parview, Clarkston, MI 48346 or to the Hospice of Stanley County, N.C.
