Ramon "Ray" Trevino Jr.

Ramon "Ray" Trevino Jr; age 54; of Waterford; earned his wings Friday, August 13, 2021. He passed at St. Joseph Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest. Ray was born on June 10, 1967 in Pontiac, Michigan to Ramon and Mary (Gomez) Trevino. Ray graduated from Pontiac Central High School where he was known to everyone. He married his wife, Melissa (Frechen) Trevino on October 17, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Trevino; he is survived by his mother, Mary Trevino; his wife, Melissa Trevino; his son, Matthew; his sisters, Raquel and Rosana; his granddaughter, Teagan; his niece, Jaden and nephews TJ and Tony. Ray will be remembered for many things including his directness and sense of humor, but what he will be remembered for most are his kind and generous heart and his passion for music. As a DJ since the age of 15, he took great joy in helping others and entertaining through music. He had a special talent for reading the crowd and knowing what would move them onto the dance floor. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Sparks Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams St, Pontiac, MI 48341. The family will receive friends from 12pmuntil the time of service at 2pm. There will be a luncheon proceeding the service at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 289 W. Montcalm St, Pontiac, MI 48342 from 4pm-7pm.
