Reese Paul

July 1, 1923 — August 8, 2006

Reese Paul of Pontiac; departed this life on August 8, 2006 at the age of 83. Beloved father of Dorothea Paul, Claretha (Claude) Vinegar and Gail (Robert) Ford, Jr., all of Pontiac, and Julia (Lionel) Ford of Port Arthur, Texas. Ex-husband of Anna Belle Paul of Hardeeville, South Carolina. Preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of four. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Special friend of Melvin and Sharon Carter. Retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 29 years of service. Family hour will be Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street, Pontiac. Brother Darrell Holt of Franklin Road Church of Christ officiating. Viewing will be Friday, August 11, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m.
