Richard B. Kallis Jr.

Richard Brian Kallis Jr. “Ricky”; of Lake Orion; age 39; passed away August 17, 2022.  Ricky is the beloved son of Richard Sr. and Denise Kallis; dear brother of Etta and Jacqueline Kallis; and loving uncle of Makayla Kallis.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Mildred Kallis and John and Etta Cody.  Ricky graduated from Lake Orion High School in 2002.  He golfed and wrestled all through his high school years.  He then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University in Business Management with a Major in Hotel and Restaurant Management.  He worked as a chef in many restaurants in Michigan and Yellowstone National Park.  Ricky had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar and being a DJ.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 12pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends for a visitation from 11am until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Centers of Hope Men's Rehabilitation in Pontiac, MI.
