Richard “Dick” Perry Haines; of Pontiac, Michigan; passed away suddenly of natural causes on November 1, 2023, at the age of 85. He is survived by his four children: Sandy Dubre, Candace Sielbeck, Rick Haines, and Rodney (Teresa) Haines; he had 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Richard was born to Perry & Leanore Haines and was the third eldest of 13 children (5 boys & 8 girls); he is also survived by his siblings, Donna Herr, Nancy Hodges, Bob Haines, Gary Haines, Darlene Beasley, Judy Haines, and John Haines.
He enjoyed golf, chess, pool, poker, crossword puzzles, music, traveling and new adventures. He was a proud sponsor of many different local sports teams and was inducted into the Touch Football Hall of Fame in 2003. He was a lifelong member of the NRA and RNC and a huge Republican supporter. During his life, he had many accomplishments. He started cleaning drains at the age of 15; by the age of 18, he ran the business and, soon after that, opened his own company and trained some of the most successful men in the industry today, including his children and grandchildren.
