Richard "Dick" Reynolds

Richard Owen Reynolds; of Pontiac; October 9, 2017; age 86.  Richard was born August 7, 1931, son of the late John and Bernadette Reynolds.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956.  From 1959 to 1987, Richard had a career as an Accountant with General Motors, during which time he completed his Bachelor Degree at the University of Detroit Mercy and his MBA at Wayne State University.  He was the sole proprietor of his income tax business from 1957 to 2015.  He was a tremendous baseball fan, marathon runner, cribbage player and numbers savant.  Richard is the beloved father of  John Reynolds, Paul (Sandra) Reynolds, Pete (Cynthia) Reynolds, Mary (Paul) Schruba and James (Paula) Reynolds; dear grandfather of Leah, Paul “PT”, Valerie, Jack, Daniel, Megan, Owen and Reid; brother of Mary Anne (Michael) Clever,  Kathleen Patricia Thornberry and the late John “Tommy” Reynolds; uncle of many nieces and nephews; and beloved friend of many.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11am with visitation starting at 10am at St. Damien of Molokai Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 46408 Woodward Avenue, Pontiac.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 4-8pm with Prayers at 5pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street, Pontiac.
