Richard John Doll Sr.

Richard John Doll Sr.; age 83; went home to his Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Born on October 25, 1935 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of the late Victor and Anna Doll. Youngest of seven children: Sr. Evelyn, SSJ, Helen (Fred) Ratliff, Margaret (David) St. Dennis, Francis (Gina), Katherine (O’Hanley) McIssac and Victor (Mary).

Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Martin) for over 63 years; loving father of Carol (Daniel) Darga, Richard Jr. (Brenda), Paul (Chris), Patricia (Glenn) Helm, Teresa (Rick) Helm, Daniel (Sherri) and Joseph (Paula); and marvelous grandfather of Scott Helm, Carrie Harrison, Eric Doll, Kevin Helm, Gabriel Darga, Bridget Green, Peter Darga, Austin Doll, Amanda Doll, Krystal Antoon and Tyler Williams.

Faithful Catholic and long-time parishioner of St Michael Church, Pontiac. Employed by General Motors for over 34 years. Avid card player. Skilled gardener. Member of Knights of Columbus Council 600.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3400 S. Adams Road, Auburn Hills with an Instate at 9:30am. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 14 from 3 p.m. to 8 pm, with a Scripture Service at 7 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac.  Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
