Richard Lawrence Rusnell

Richard Lawrence Rusnell; of Lapeer; formerly of Gingellville (Orion); age 85; passed away October 10, 2018. Richard was born on December 22, 1932 to Ivan and Doris Rusnell. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara; loving father of Mark (Diane) Rusnell of Lapeer, Kim (Quentin) McGlothlin of Texas and Carol (Rob) Wiley of Maryland; loving grandfather of Brittney, Brent, Katelyn and Elizabeth; and great grandfather of Ethan and Emma.  Richard served in the US Navy, retired from GM Truck and Bus after 34 years, and proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter for the Gingellville (Orion Twp.) Fire Department.  He also enjoyed buying and selling antiques. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion .  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-5pm and on Monday from 10am until the time of service.  Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Child Evangelism Fellowship, P.O.
