Robert "Bob" Roy Gracin Sr.

Robert “Bob” Roy Gracin; of Lake Orion; passed away to his Heavenly home suddenly on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the age of 83. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 16, 1936 to Anthony and Ann (Paytas) Gracin. After graduating from high school Bob began working in the heating and air conditioning business and was also a member of the Army National Guard Reserves until his honorable discharge in 1960.

Bob was the owner of Custom Climate heating and air conditioning for many years and eventually opened Michigan HVAC trade school with his wife, Eleanor. They retired in 2012 and enjoyed the extra time with many friends and family in the Detroit area and Higgins Lake. Bob played the drums for many years at German festivals and was a member of the G.T.E.V. Edelweiss Club, the German-American Cultural Club, the Detroit Schwaben Unterstützungs Verein, YMCA, and Sheet Metal Workers Local 80.

Cremation was arranged by Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion, Michigan. Bob will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
