Robert G Collins

Robert Collins; of Lake Orion; age 87; passed away on April 7, 2020. Bob is the beloved husband of the late Doris Collins; dear father of Jo Schipper and the late Deborah Persha; loving grandfather of Krista (Brad) Garner and James (Michelle) Schipper; and great grandfather of Jacob, Jason, Isabella & Kaila. He is also the dear brother of Nancy (Vern) Titus, Joan (John) Carless, Gary (Sharon) Collins, Gene (Judy) Collins, the late Patricia Ann, and the late Glen (the late Angie) Collins; and the loving uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Army and retiree of Ford Motor Company. He was also a member of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed hunting and working on various stained glass projects. Due to the ongoing pandemic, private burial will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery with a memorial service at a later date.
