Robert C. Hickey

Robert Cecil Hickey Jr.; of Oxford; age 59; passed away March 11, 2019. Rob is the beloved husband of Cindy; loving father of Tiffany Hickey, Robert Gerald Hickey and Christopher (Shelby) Hickey; and grandfather of Mackenzie, Justina, Bailey, Kaylee, Adelynn and Nathan. He is also the son of Mary and the late Bob Hickey; brother of Jan Wishon; uncle of Gregory, Lisa, Kelly and their children; son in law of June and the late Gerald Hughes; and brother in law of Jerry (Catherine) Hughes, Mike Hughes and their children. Most recently Rob worked for ASI Paving Co. where he earned the CB handle of “Poolside”. He loved to fish and he loved his grandkids so much. Rob was known around town for riding his beloved moped, the Rob Hickey jinx, and for talking… a lot. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 12 noon at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
