Robert J. Desmarais Sr.

Robert "Bob" John Desmarais Sr.; age 56; of Shelby Twp.; passed away on October 15, 2022 with his loved ones by his side. Bob was a devoted father, loving husband, protective brother and a great friend to everyone he met.  Bob’s generosity knew no limits, he loved fiercely, held no grudges, and ended all conversations with, “I love you (more).” He cherished every moment he could fish, hunt, play his guitar and spend time with family.  Bob endured so much pain and loss in life but always took it in stride and lived each day with strength, fortitude and a touch of humor.   Bob’s greatest joy has always been his children!

He is survived by his sons Robert "Bobby" Desmarais Jr., Mitchell Kusmider, Ryan and Aaron Prystash, his brothers Jim and John (Linda) Desmarais, nieces Ashley, Veronica, Samantha, Courtney, and his nephew Austin.  Bob is preceded in death by Autumn Desmarais (daughter), Andrea Desmarais (wife), and Jim and Mary Anne (Jensen) Desmarais (parents).

Rest easy Bob!
