SHEARDY, ROBERT T. of Spring Lake, Mi., formerly of Lake Orion, March 1, 2009 age 89.Beloved husband of Jane. Dear father of Robert J of Spring Lake., Susan Sheardy of Spring Lake, Richard (Joanne) of Texas, and Peter of Florida. Loving grandfather of Tim, Toby, Allison, and Alex. Mr. Sheardy was retired from Pontiac Motor advertising department, and was an Army veteran of WW2. Following his retirement Bob was elected and served two terms as Orion Township Supervisor from 1976 to 1980., He was a member of Lake Orion United Methodist Church, Past Master of Orion Masonic Lodge #46, a member of Order of Eastern Star #340, and served on the Lake Orion School Board.Funeral services Wednesday, 10:00 am. from the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336). The Sheardy family will receive friends on after 3:00 pm on Tuesday, with suggested visiting hours of 3 to 5, and 7 to 9 pm. A Masonic memorial services Tuesday 7:00 pm.
