Robin Kaye Morris, age 65, was born on September 26, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan, and passed away on March 12, 2025, in Lapeer, Michigan.
Robin lived most of her adult life in her apartment in Pontiac. For the past 7 years, though, she had been living at the Stonegate Health Campus in Lapeer, MI. She graduated from Pontiac Northern High School class of 1979. And worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Emerson Elementary School in Pontiac.
Robin is preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Morris Sr. and Shirley Morris. She is survived by her siblings, Herschel Morris Jr. and Carole Morris; nieces and nephews, Jason Moore, Nichole Morris, Latrisha & Brandon Alexander, Maria & Brandon Bruce; and a host of great nieces and nephews. Special friends Chris and Charlene Reppuhn. Thank you both for always being there for her. Not only was Robin a close family friend to Fred and Linda Weggman, but they also made her a part of their family. Thank you for loving Robin. Robin had no children of her own but loved and cared for many.
Robin loved listening to Country Music and Rock-n-Roll. Her famous heartthrob was Donny Osmond. Every concert he played at, she was there. There might have even been a P.P.O. put in place at one point. She loved writing poems, playing bingo, going to the movies, and playing cards.
During her stay at Stonegate, Robin fell head over heels for Mr. Ronald Turcsak. They became Stonegate’s Love Shack, baby! When you saw one, you saw the other. A deep appreciation to the staff at Stonegate; you made her last years full of fun and entertainment. Even when it became increasingly difficult in the last year with her health decline.
I've been so deeply touched by the generosity of donations given by family, friends, my church family, and the Salvation Army crew. THANK YOU!
Robin will always be remembered for her laughter! Rest peacefully, my dear sister.
