Rodney Nolan Campbell (1944 - 2026)

Rodney Nolan Campbell; age 82; of Oxford, Michigan; died at his home on August 4th, 2026.

He was born in Launceston, Australia in 1944 to Walter Nolan Campbell and Mary Heather Campbell. Rodney often fondly remembered his earliest years with his grandfather in Australia while his father was serving in World War II.

Rodney attended St. Michaels in Pontiac before attending Oakland University. He joined the Army August 30th, 1967, before serving in the Vietnam War. Once back home, Rodney formed his plastics company Nolan Enterprises and later his injection molding company MCR in Rochester Michigan.

Rodney had a curious mind and a lasting affinity for the arts and photography. He made many lifelong friends while exploring these pursuits and was very grateful for it.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Campbell and Mary Campbell, and is survived by his wife Deborah Anne Campbell and sons, Alexander Nolan Campbell and Jacob Joshua Campbell.

The memorial service will take place Wednesday, August19th, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road Holly, MI 48442. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
