Ronald F. Bashore, of Pontiac; age 62; passed into the arms of the Lord on April 8, 2008 peacefully in his sleep. Beloved father of Jennifer (Bashore) Swackhamer and caring father in law of Andrew Swackhamer; brother of Robert Bashore of Clarkston and Richard Bashore of Sebring, Ohio. Ron also leaves behind his partner Bryan Miller.&nbs p; Ron was retired from GM and enjoyed baking cakes, drawing, feeding the birds and squirrels and attending church in his spare time. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
