Rosa "MiMi" Roman

Rosa “MiMi” Roman, age 43, of Pontiac, Michigan, passed away on December 18, 2025. She leaves behind to cherish in her memory her parents, Eva and Rafael Roman; her beloved children, Taina Aaliyah and Diovanni Tyrell McGowan; partner, Darren “Red” McGowan; siblings, Daniel Roman and Chris Viera; her best friend/sister of 30 plus years, Melissa Melton; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. She will be deeply missed and cherished by those who loved her. 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with rosary prayers to be said at 7:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Church. Burial to follow at Christian Memorial Gardens West Cemetery.
