Rosalyn A Redmond

REDMOND, ROSALYN ANNE of Auburn Hills, MI passed away April 26, 2021, at age 62.  She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 31, 1959.  She was the loving mother of RoAnne Astin Redmond of Auburn Hills, MI.  Devoted grandmother of DayVon Redmond of Waterford, MI and La'Kayla Redmond of Auburn Hills, MI.  She was the special mate of Lindsey Williams of Pontiac, MI.  Sister of Norma Jane Pecelunas of Seattle, WA, Marcia Elaine Redmond-Johnson of North Branch, MI and Keith Redmond of Houston, TX.   Rosalyn was preceded in death by her mother Jeanette B. Redmond, sister Julia Denise Redmond-Caldwell, brother Reuben B. Redmond, maternal grandmother Marjorie Davenport, grandparents Bonnie & Julia Milton, grandparents John Redmond and Fannie Edwards and father Reuben Redmond.   Rosalyn will be remembered for her bravado in support of her loved ones and her fierceness in the kitchen.  Her dishes were the delight at all family get-together’s.  She loved her daughter and grandchildren beyond all and without question.  She lovingly nicknamed Marcia Elaine, her closest sister, Pig while she was nicknamed Bear—terms of endearment that stood the test of time.  She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.  A memorial balloon release will be held at a later date.
