Rose Mary Kalohn

Rose Mary Kalohn; age 84; of Oxford; March 2, 2012; born Nov. 5, 1927; daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna Gatto; loving wife of the late Paul Kalohn Sr.; mother of Phyllis (Ken) Miskin, Paul (Sue) Kalohn, and Michael (Anne Marie) Kalohn; grandma of Todd (Elaine) Ashley, David (Deanna) Ashley, and Marianne Marsh; great grandma of Brendan Ashley and Hayden Marsh; and sister of Salvatore (Karen) Gatto and Josephine Klouse. Rose was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Ann Gatto and Phyllis La Barbera, and her brother Anthony Gatto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion on Sunday, March 4, 2012 with suggested visiting hours of 2 to 6 p.m. with Scripture prayers at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Road. Interment Our Lake of Angels Cemetery, Albany, New York. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation or to Mercy Hospice.
