Rosemary E. Stevenson; of Lake Orion

Rose was called home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2024, surrounded by family. She was loved by All who were fortunate enough to know her. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan. Rose was preceded in death by her parents Kathleen Warden and Eberhard Krueger; her son, Timothy West; daughters, Jenee West and Lorene Faye West; and sister, Cindy Krueger. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rob Stevenson; siblings, Betty (Bill) Alward and Eberhard (Shelly) Krueger; grandchildren, Justice (Kristin) Wolverton, Zoe Smith, Destiny Ellis, Jacob West, Joey West, Chase Smith; great grandchildren Everleigh Flynn, and Baby boy Wolverton (2025).

Rose was employed by Advent Medical for the past 12 years. She was a dedicated employee and adored by her coworkers. She was thankful for her work family and their support through every life circumstance.

Rose ADORED her grandchildren and great granddaughter and loved spending time with them…She was a WONDERFUL cook and enjoyed gardening and reading and watching the cooking channel sitting in “her spot” on the sofa. She definitely had a “green thumb” as anyone could tell by the size of her vegetable garden each year or the many decade-old plants that are still thriving around the house.

Rose was the definition of strength. Her perseverance through many life challenges and her battle with her disease proves that. She was always there as a listening ear and to give you her honest opinion. She was independent and had no filter. She always spoke her mind and stood up for what she believed in.

Gigi, Meemaw, Rosie - special names for a lady who was loved by many.

We love you to the moon and back.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date.

There will still be a memorial benefit taking place on Saturday, September 28th from 1:00-5:00 p.m.at the Lake Orion American Legion.  All proceeds will go to the family to help with funeral costs and other expenses associated with her loss.
