Rosetta L White, age 80; of Pontiac; passed away November 12, 2008 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital; born August 8, 1928 in Montgomery, Alabama. Rosetta confessed Christ at an early age at New Home Baptist Church and came to Pontiac in 1963. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry C. White. Rosetta is survived by her sister Johnnie M. Moore and brother Joseph Calhoun; three daughters, Rosie Brooks, Evangelist Freda Hall and Lisa B. McCoy (Charles); eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Rosetta was a caregiver in the medical profession and was a member of the East Side Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Dr. Rev. M.M. Scott officiating. The family will receive friends for Family Hour at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Reflections may be shared at www.sparksgriffin.com.
