Ruchelle Eva (Legg) Post; of Maryville, Tennessee; age 90; passed away October 14, 2018. Ruchelle, who was affectionately known as Rusty, was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 23, 1927 to George and Cassandra Moseley. She is the devoted mother of Edward (Betsy) and Richard (Chris) Legg; grandmother of Edward (Jennifer) Legg and Kelly (Jim) Walker; great grandmother of Adam Legg, Alex Legg, Josh Legg, Colleen Walker, Celine Legg, Luke Walker, Erica Walker, Abby Legg, Dominic Walker, Carrie Walker and Amy Walker; sister of the late Charles Moseley; and special aunt to many.
Ruchelle was a skilled China Painter who enjoyed using her talent to paint and glaze many beautiful dishes, tiles and ornaments for her friends and family. She also holds a Hole-in-One trophy.
Ruchelle and her late husband Bernie traveled the U.S. extensively, finally settling down in Maryville, Tennessee where they built their retirement dream home. They loved the area and chose it because of their skills and they were able to meet many other friends with the same interest. It was here that she became a very active member of the Knoxville Porcelain Artists Guild.
She was a fantastic mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and she was a gentle, passionate woman who loved God, life and her family with her whole heart. Ruchelle was an inspiration of faith and strength to all who knew her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 4-8pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. Interment will be Thursday at 10am at Eastlawn Cemetery.
