Rufino Zamora,; a good and faithful servant entered into the Kingdom of God on August 8, 2009; age 83; of Pontiac. Rufino was member of the First Spanish American Baptist Church for 35 years. He was the beloved husband of Endina Zamora; dear father of Josephine (James) Snell, Brigida ( Juan) Cantu, Gloria Campbell, Rufino (Connie) Zamora Jr., Mary Lou ( Denny) Woody, Felipe Zamora, and Esperanza (Mark) Tysick. Rufino is also survived by his sister Juanita Salazar; brother Juan (Anita) Flores, son-in- law Eulogio Manriquez; sister-in-law Juanita Zamora; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his children, Samuel Zamora, Herlinda Manriquez, and Gennevie Zamora; and brother Jose M. Zamora. Mr. Zamora was retired from the Manor of the Hills in West Bloomfield. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Spanish American Baptist Church, 1533 Giddings Road, with Pastor Carlos Quiñones officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
