Russell F. Neddermeyer, of Lake Orion; passed away May 29, 2009 at the age of 74; beloved husband of the late Marion; loving father of Brenda (Fiancé Ed "Tip" Blakley) Grogg of Lake Orion, Dawn Neddermeyer of Lake Orion and Shelly Neddermeyer of Oxford; dear grandfather of Amber, Sarah, Russell, Marabeth and Travis; dear brother of Martha (Stanley) Kegler, Thomas (Mable) Neddermeyer, William (Carol) Neddermeyer, Constance (Dennis) Whiting, Linda (Ammon) Martin and the late Theodoris Hunt. Russell is also survived by numerous family members and friends. Russell was a proud graduate of Romeo High School. He was also a graduate of GM trade school as a toolmaker and later retired from G.M. as a supervisor. Russell served in the U.S. Navy and was an active member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Lake Orion. He was also a member of the Orion Masonic Lodge #46 and the Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at King of Kings Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Bendert officiating. The family will receive friends at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
