Ruth Ann Parks

Ruth Ann (Nicholson) Parks; of Pontiac; age 83; passed away on August 22, 2021.  Ruth is the beloved wife of the late Stanley Howard Parks; dear sister of Elaine, Shirley and Rich; loving mother of Michelle (Bob), Richard, Shirley and Patti (Bill) Bone; dear grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Jack, Harry, Bob, Jim, Don, Frank and Fran.  Ruth was a wonderful woman who was always giving and taking care of others.  She loved the Woodward Dream Cruise and was proud to own her 1979 Oldsmobile Hurst automobile.  Her other favorite past times were gambling, golfing and bowling.  Everyone will deeply miss the love and care that Ruth gave to them.  The family will welcome friends for a visitation on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 11:00-1:00pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post 108 in Oxford, Michigan or Shriners Hospitals for Children.  Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery.
