Salvatore Gagliardi

Salvatore Gagliardi; age 87; born on July 30, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan; joined his loving wife of 67 years in heaven on March 31, 2012, two weeks to the day after Helen passed; cherished daddy of Helen (Eurskin) Garten of Oakland, MI, and Harriet Berg of Washington, MI; loving grandpa of April Garten, Kristena (Kevin) Cook, Gina Yurisko (Kirk Spillane), Dawn Yurisko (Matt McNabb), Sam (Stephanie) Garten, and Marvin (Tiffany) Berg. He loved having his eight great grandchildren around him, Kirk Spillane Jr., Anjelica Garten, Branden Garten, Andrew Garten, Marissa Cimini, Anna Austin, Michael Garten, and Faith Garten. Survived by his sister Rose (Frank) Potestio; also nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In his younger years, he loved fishing with his girls, playing pool, and working in the yard. He was always there to help his family whenever they needed him. He will be forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion, with Chaplain Dennis Saulino officiating.
