Samuel "Papo" Ivan Rosado

November 17, 1974 — April 7, 2025

Samuel Ivan Rosado, affectionately known as “Papo,” age 50, of Waterford, Michigan, passed away on April 7, 2025. Papo leaves behind to cherish in his memory his beloved wife of 25 years, LuAnn Rosado; his loving children Mateo Samuel Rosado and Celia J. Rosado; his parents, Nilsa and Sammie Rosado; his siblings, Nytza Rosado, Maria Rosado, and Josue Rosado; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Papo lived his entire life to glorify God, even to the end of his days he was faithful and full of hope and he truly lived a life above reproach. He spent the majority of his days discipling, ministering, studying the word of God, praying, and writing poetry and songs with messages of biblical exhortation, testimony of his life as a believer, and proclamation of Gods glory. He truly did all things unto God giving Him glory and thanks through it all. Papo loved his family so much and was said to be one of the funniest guys you will ever meet. He made sure to lead his family in the way of the Lord also, making it his life’s mission to be a living testimony of what it meant to faithfully follow after God. He truly fulfilled the command to lead his family in the way of truth. Joshua 24:15 says; “But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

There are many many wonderful memories to cherish with Papo that will not soon be forgotten. He will be genuinely missed by all who loved and cherished him both friends and family, but when it really came down to it, if you knew him, you know he treated everyone like family with the love of Christ. If Samuel could leave everyone with one final message it would be to remember that there is no name under heaven by which one may be saved other than Jesus Christ, for He is the way, He is the truth, and He is the life, and no one gets to the Father except through Him.
