Santos Colon; on January 8, 2011 the heart and soul of the Colon family was called to Heaven. Santos "Mami" Colon was 82 years old and will now be reunited in Heaven with her husband of 49 years Vicente Colon Sr. Mami is survived by her 13 children, Jorge (Glady), Olga (Gilberto), Glady (Lin), Zenaida (Ramon), Vicente Jr. (Carmen), Doris (Chay), Elihut (Ana), Noemi (Major), Betzaida (Victor), Sonia (Benjamin), Carlos, Sandra and Roseliesse. She is also survived by her 41 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com.
