Sharon Marie Lang

Sharon Marie Lang (Steffens); of Macomb; age 79; passed away on December 27, 2022.  Sharon was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth T. Lang; dear mother of Terry (Monica) Lang, Deana Pankotai, Shelly (David) Richards and Scott (Tina) Lang; loving grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 3; sister of James (Edyie) Steffens; and special sister-in-law of Roger and Julia Crick and Carol Steffens.  She was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Luella Steffens and her brother John Steffens.  Sharon loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a loyal person and had a group of girlfriends that she kept in touch with since the 7th grade.  They did a lot of things together including yearly trips to Port Austin, Michigan.  She also loved traveling to Daytona Beach in Florida.  In her spare time she liked going to the casino, playing bingo, crocheting and ceramics.  She will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 4-7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to kidsgala.org or angelsofhope.org. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery, Lake Orion.
