Sherry Ann Wood

Sherry Ann Wood; of Lapeer; age 38; passed away suddenly on November 20, 2018. Sherry is the beloved mother of Evan Richard Spearing; and loving fiancé of Rick Spearing.  She is also the beloved daughter of Kristine Wood and Kenny Wood.  Sherry’s son Evan was the most important thing to her, and she was a strong advocate for anything and everything that concerned him.  Sherry loved animals and taking care of other people’s animals so much that she became a pet sitter and later Vet Tech.  She also loved traveling around Michigan to the U.P. and its many lighthouses.  Sherry will be dearly missed.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until the time of service.  Memorials in Sherry’s honor may be made to the family.
