Shirley R. Flannery

June 6, 1922 — March 21, 2009

Shirley R. Flannery, of Bloomfield Hills, MI; passed away March 21, 2009 at the age of 86. She is the beloved wife of Gerard J. Flannery; and the loving mother of Michael (Mary) Flannery Sr., Gerard Flannery Jr. and the late Maureen A. Flannery. Shirley is also survived by her grandchildren, Anne Marie (Steven) Michalec, Michael (Kathryn) Flannery Jr. and Erin Flannery; great grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Adam and Michael III.; and siblings, John (Irene)Roggenbeck and Henry (Kathy) Roggenbeck and Mary Golm, Jerry (Sandy) Roggenbeck and the late Robert (Judy) Roggenbeck. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. scripture service at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
