Shirley Y. Hansen

Shirley Y. Hansen; of Oxford; age 79; March 8, 2016. Shirley is the wife of the late Thomas Hansen; loving mother of Janice Maldonado (Alberto Maldonado) and the late Thomas; dear grandma of Jessika (Joe) Sly and Joshua Maldonado; and sister of Ann Brooks, Jean Sweeney; Duane Decker and Joyce Tindall.  She was preceded in death by her parents Borley and Lepha Decker; and her six brothers.  Shirley’s family was her life, but she will be so fondly remembered as fanatical fan of the Tigers, Lions and Wolverines, who never missed a game.  She loved to read and go for rides Up North, especially when Wilson’s Pinconning Cheese was involved.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 1pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion .  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 8pm.  Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.  Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com .
