Ssgt Trevor P. Blaylock

SSgt Trevor P. Blaylock; of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina; formerly of Lake Orion. Trevor is the loving husband of Lisa Blaylock for 7 years; devoted father of Annabelle and Evelyn; dear son of Jon and Katherine Blaylock of Lake Orion; brother of Matthew (Amanda Hempel) Blaylock; and grandson of Pauline Egner and Patricia Blaylock. He is also survived by his mother and father in law, John and Donna Squires; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Trevor is a 2004 graduate of Lake Orion High School. After graduating he briefly attended Central Michigan University and Henry Ford Community College and in 2006 Trevor joined the Marine Corp. In 2007 he reconnected with Lisa and they were married in 2008. Together they lived in California for three years and then relocated to North Carolina. It was there when Trevor became involved with MARSOC. During his military career he served two tours of duty in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Trevor's passion for hard work, dedication and persistence were all exemplified during his time in the Marines. He will always be remembered for his love for his family, military family and his country. Trevor was a jokester, a prankster and he just had a way with his words, and he will truly be missed by all those who loved him. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11am at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 8 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
