Stan Kowalski

Stan Kowalski; of Lake Orion; age 75; passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017.  Stan is survived by his awesome wife of 55 years Dottie (Zale); children, Chery (Tim) Ravellette and Chris (Howard) Rose, both of Traverse City; dearest grandfather of six, Nicole, Renee, Michelle, Josh, “Buddy” and Jennifer; and loving great grandfather of two, Isabelle and Opal.  He is also survived by his sister Joanne (Bob) Hickey of Oscoda; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.  Prior to retirement, Stan was President of Triad Plastics, Inc. in Detroit.  He and Dottie have lived in this wonderful community “Where Living is a Vacation” since 1970.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Waldon Road, Lake Orion, on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11am.  The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Christ the Redeemer Building Fund.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  Reflections may be shared with the family by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com .
