CARPENTER, STEVEN C.; of Lake Orion, December 12, 2009, age 56.Beloved husband of Linda for 30 years. Preceded in death by daughter Tammy Bauers, and his parents,Charles and Dorothy Carpenter. Steve will be missed by his sisters Wendy Brennan of Clarkston, andCindy Carpenter of Lake Orion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, brotherand sisters in-laws, and special friends. Mr. Carpenter was retired from the Oakland County Road Commissionafter 32 years, and was an avid hunter. He attended the Lake Orion United Methodist Church, and was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Waterfoul USA, and the Keego Hunt Club. Funeral Services Thursday, 11:00 am from the Lake OrionUnited Methodist Church. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, with suggested visiting hours of 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
