Susan J. Brakke

Susan Joyce Ninotti-Brakke passed peacefully at home with family present on May, 11, age 70.  Susan was born on December 10 ^th , 1948 in Ypsilanti and is preceded by her parents, Perry and Alice and her bother Mark Ninotti.  She is survived by her daughter, Elisa Barber and husband Chris; her siblings Michael, Marjorie Printz, and John and wife Angela; her nieces and nephews, Nicole, Kristen and Anthony Printz; Lila Ninotti; Gray and Gabrielle Brakke.  Sue taught English at Waterford Mott for 34 years and was passionate about literature and the arts.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10am at St. Benedict's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Friday, May 17, 2019 with a rosary service at 7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. Donations can be made to the Hermelin Brain Tumor Center at Henry Ford Medical in lieu of flowers.
