Susan D Vaillancourt

Susan Diane Vaillancourt; loving daughter, mother, grammy, niece, cousin and friend; passed away at the age of 58; on May 17, 2023.

Susan was born on August 30, 1964 to John and Rita McCaffrey.  She was the apple of their eye.  She excelled in school and always made a ton of friends.  Susan wore many occupational hats: she was a realtor, hair salon manager, barkeeper, waitress, housekeeper, and a very talented decorator.

She enjoyed bowling on a family league and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.  Susan had a remarkable ability to connect with people, share herself and evoke that same spirit of love in each person she knew.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Vaillancourt, her father, John and mother, Rita.  Susan is survived by her beloved children, Matthew (Elizabeth) Wolber, Sarah (Matt) Gramer, Eric Woodruff, Nicholas (Angie) Vaillancourt and Marie Vaillancourt; and her beloved grandchildren, Alaina, Caroline, Ethan and Hannah.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 5pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  Her family will welcome friends for visitation from 2pm until the time of service.
