Reeder, Thelbert E. "Gene" January 25, 2011 age 72 of Metamora, formerly of Lake Orion. Loving husband of Cara of 48 years. Dear father of Michael (Debbie) Reeder, Jan (John) Riley, Duane Reeder, Mark (Dawn) Reeder and the late Cliff "Butch" Reeder and Rick Reeder. Grandfather of 6 and Great-grandfather of 6. Brother of Joyce (Rev. Alfred "Ray")Whittaker and the late Dale, Janet and Jerry Reeder. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Ora "Chub" and Imogene Reeder. Mr. Reeder was a Mechanic and Heavy Machine Operator. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Funeral service Friday 11am at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Thursday 5-9 pm at the funeral home. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
