Lawrence; born in Pontiac on March 9, 1921; passed away June 23, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas; wife of the late Clarimond Lawrence; daughter of the late Leslie and Ellen Dean; beloved mother of Bonnie (Jim) Harrison, Gary (Barb) Lawrence, Carol (Dave) McGeen, Jean (Moy) Badillo, Pam (Ernesto) Varela, Janet (Bill) Johns, Roger (Elizabeth) Lawrence, and the late Nancy; loving grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 17; and dear sister of Patricia Clason, Joan Lambert, Jim Dean, Larry Dean and the late Eugene, Ralph and L.H. Dean, Sarah Smith and Mary Ellen Lindgren. Thelma is also the sister in law of Marjorie Jones and the late Maude Stalcup and Roger Lawrence. Thelma was a member of Grace and Peace Community Church. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Imlay Township Cemetery. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com.
