Thelma E. Schmittka

Thelma E. Schmittka; of Lake Orion; age 84; May 14, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Edwin; loving mother of Roger (Susan) Schmittka, Alan (Vicki) Schmittka, and the late Charles and Randy Schmittka; grandmother of Dawn, Stacy, Becky, Roxanne, Jimmy, Melissa, Joey, and Jake; and great grandmother of Brody, Braylon, Logan, Haley, Tyler, Lucas, Keira, and Aliah. Thelma will be also be missed by all of her adored children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, who she thought of as her own, and she will always be known as one of the best quilt and craft makers around. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
