Thomas Dale Chaffee

Thomas Dale Chaffee; of Lake Orion; age 60; passed away on January 10, 2022.  Thomas is the beloved husband of Margaret Ellen Chaffee for 37 years; loving father of Michael Chaffee, Matthew (Melanie) Chaffee and Christopher (Kallee) Chaffee; and loving grandfather of Lucas, Leni, Josh, Carter, Oaklee, Maison and Elleri.  Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Marie Chaffee and his sister and brother-in-law Kathryn and Blair Hubbard.  Thomas was a hard working man who did everything for his family, they never wanted for anything.  He was an intelligent, highly educated man who had a passion for teaching and who would often be seen grading papers.  He loved to travel especially taking trips with his family to Disney World and up north in Michigan.  He also spent many years coaching his sons in the Lake Orion Baseball League.  He enjoyed golfing and going to the Dream Cruise to see his favorite automobile the 1957 Chevy Bel Air.  Thomas was an exceptional man and he will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.  The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4-7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11 am at Sparks-Griffin.  Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford, MI.
