Thomas A. Scott

Thomas Albert Scott; of Oxford; age 70; passed away December 13, 2018.  Tom is the beloved husband of Faye for 50 years; loving father of Tommy (Trish) Scott, Todd (Jessica) Scott, Timmy (Ginger) Scott and Terry (Carrie) Scott; loving grandfather of 18; and great grandfather of one.  He is also survived by his brother Frank Scott.  Tom was a retired iron worker after many years.  He was a member of the Ironworkers Local 25 and a member of the Sons of the American Legion.  When he wasn’t working Tom enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything.  He was jokester, and was always able to make people feel comfortable and put a smile their faces.  Tom enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, relaxing, and anything else that went along with living on the lake.  He was big Michigan Football fan and he always held out hope that one day the Lions would win the Super Bowl.  Tom was a good man, a loving family man and he will be dearly missed.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11am at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Wik officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  Interment will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Oxford.
